Landow just mentioned Lawrence Sterne for about the umpteenth time, which led me to see if someone had done the obvious (if laborious) thing and put a hypertext verion of Tristram Shandy somewhere out there in nebulous cyberspace. In fact, they have. A decade ago, a group of ambitious folk set up this set of webs of themes, characters, and digressions -- but in what the website refers to as 'true Shandian fashion,' it is glaringly incomplete and only contains two volumes of the actual text.
